Collect anaerobic specimen using Starswab II (yellow-cap) swab

Submit at room temperature.

Transport specimen to Laboratory as soon as possible.

Swabs other than Starswab II.

No growth.

Probable anaerobes will be sent to reference laboratory for identification.
